The YMCA of Greater Charlotte's Y-Guides program has a long history of providing school age children with opportunities for fun times, learning and mutual understanding. Y-Guides is action packed! The program is for dads who want quality planned time with their children. In Y-Guides emphasis is placed on the vital role that a dad plays in the growth and development of their children. The program provides a framework for a father and child to spend enjoyable constructive time together through age appropriate event planning. Y-Guides members learn the character values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith; core values of the YMCA. Membership is open to every father with a child 5 and older.
